GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum age: 23 years

  • Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsement

  • Clean MVR

  • No convictions for DWI, DUI, felonies, or any other drug related offense in the past 10 years

  • DOT Physical & Drug Testing required

COMPENSATION:

 

Driver Starting Pay: Local $20.00/hr    OVR  $.42/mile    
Trip/Mileage pay package   
Stop Off Pay:  $25.00/stop off
Backhauls:     $25.00 pickup/delivery
Wait Time:  2 hours free at pickup/deliver, $14.00 per hour after the 2 hours; you must get signatures and put times on your paperwork in order to get paid.
Breakdowns:    $10.00 per hour
Layovers:   $60.00 if detained at pickup/delivery
Overnight Money: $20.00 each night out on the road; included in expense check
Expense Money:  $150.00 for tolls, parking, showers, etc.

 

All over the road drivers are required to obtain their Passport.

All drivers are required to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential). 

INCENTIVES:

Driver Incentive Pay:  $50.00 for each clean DOT check.
  $50.00 towards renewal of Haz endorsement
  $75.00 Passport fee
  $132.50 & 2 hours straight time for TWIC card

                                              

BENEFITS:

Holidays:  ETGI, Inc. recognizes seven paid holidays per year for full time active employees.

 

Vacation:  Full time active employees are eligible for one week vacation after one year of service and two weeks after two years of service. 

 

Life Insurance:  Full time active employees are eligible on the 1st of the month following 90 days of employment for a benefit of $15,000.

 

Health Insurance:  Full time active employees are eligible for Health Insurance coverage on the 1st of the month following 90 days of employment.

ETGI 401(K):

As an employee of Environmental Transport Group, Inc., you are eligible to participate in the plan after you meet your plan’s age and service requirements.  You must attain age 18 and complete 2 months of service.  Your plan provides that ETGI may make employer matching contribution equal to a discretionary percentage that it determines at the end of each year.

AFLAC:  AFLAC offers our drivers Dental Insurance, Cancer Insurance, Accident Insurance and Short-Term Disability Income Insurance.  Enrollment for these plans will be on the 1st of the month following 90 days of employment.

 

Employee Incentive Program for Safety and Productivity

Local Drivers:

Qualifying Factors:

  • Must be a full-time employee.
  • Must be an active employee for the full year.
  • You must be currently employed on the day the raises are issued to be eligible. Upon termination or resignation any unpaid raise will be forfeited.
  • Determination of any and all reductions will be at Management’s discretion.

Earning Yearly Raises

  • Local drivers are eligible to earn a total pay increase of $1.00 per hour.
  • Raises will be effective January 1st of the following year.
  • Raises will be issued for all qualified drivers that have not received a written warning notice in the prior year.

Regional Drivers:

Qualifying Factors:

  • Must be a full-time employee.
  • Must be an active employee for the full month/year.
  • You must be currently employed on the day the incentives/raises are issued to be eligible. Upon termination or resignation any unpaid incentive or raise will be forfeited.
  • Determination of any and all reductions will be at Management’s discretion.

Earning Monthly Incentives

  • Regional drivers are eligible to earn a total monthly Incentive of $.02 per mile on all miles paid in the qualifying month. Incentives will be in the following month.

  • The Incentive is based on the monthly performance of the driver. An incentive will be issued for all qualified drivers that have not received a written warning notice in the qualifying month.

Earning Yearly Raises

  • Regional drivers are eligible to earn a total pay increase of $.01 per mile.

  • Raises will be effective January 1st of the following year.

  • Raises will be issued for all qualified drivers that have not received a written warning notice in the prior year.
